When you want to quit, it can be really hard to know where to start! The most important thing you can do is not quit or slow down your smoking. You need to ensure your smoking does not become a precious or a valued item in your mind. It needs to eventually become less valuable to you, but that will take time. So, until you are evolved into this new mindset, do not stop smoking.
And, your most powerful tool, is your quit. You need to find a way to establish your quit, and to ensure that it sticks. The step you start with is your quit!
