Quit Smoking and Quit your Fear

Smoke Your Last Cigarette

If you have decided that this is the year you want to quit smoking, congratulations!  It is not an easy decision, and the most critical of all things is your decision to quit.  That is why many people start to quit, and then end up back as smokers once again.

But do not send these poor smokers off to pasture, they are only on a diversion, as they have made their decision, and they will enact it once again.  The quit and smoke pattern is very common, and here is how you end this vicious circle!

Decide to Quit For Good

It is not a flippant decision, and you need to really want to do this.  Then, ensure your quit sticks, by changing how you think about smoking.  You have built up reasons, excuses and patterns, that need to be destroyed.  No more excuses on your smoking habits.  Remove your cigarettes for good.  Destroy ashtrays, and toss lighters.  Enjoy the physical process of removing the effects of smoking, by having your car detailed.  Spend some money on a professional cleaning of your car.  Wow, was it dirty!

Change your Mindset

This is a new life.  It is not the old you, so any past regrets you may have, need to be destroyed.  Stop the process of ruining your life, by motivating yourself forward with great positive energy.  Sign up for a support group in town, try hypnotherapy, buy some quit smoking books to empower your lifestyle.  Tell all your friends you are quitting on such and such a date.  Be prepared for skepticism, as they have seen it all before.  But, if you stick with me, and find your support, your new positive way of thinking, and really motivate yourself to change, you can kick the last cigarette out of your mind.  In fact, there will come a day, where you actually do not crave a cigarette.  I promise it will happen!
